This is a great ice rink with friendly and helpful staff. Will be back the next time I am in the Chicago area. The staff was welcoming and the facilities were very nice. I was visiting from out of town and had a great time at Rocket Ice Skating Rink. The coaches and staff are great! Fun, encouraging, and a great atmosphere! Highly recommended!
We had our son's birthday party there, along with him taking the learn to play hockey classes. Ice skating can be hard, but the staff makes it welcoming and helps get rid of some of the intimidation of it.

It was such a good time, all of our kids at camp had so much fun, and I enjoyed myself so much that I hunted down my old Google account password to review it. The ice was great, the staff helped out with everything we needed, and I will definitely be going back there for more hockey. I recently played there for an alumni game and had a great time. And the hockey programs here are really great!
My son had his birthday here, we have had a number of parties here, and we skate here for open skate and stick and puck all the time. Rocket has been absolutely amazing to work with for years. Would highly recommend.įrom my oldest with special needs taking skating lessons to Jake doing Learn to Skate, Learn to Play Hockey, and now entering his 3rd Fall of Sabre Hockey, Rocket Ice has been a great resource for instruction and fun, for all ice activities! This is not the closest rink to our house but, wouldn't want to go anywhere else after our experience. Same for the figure skating coaches as well. So patient and devoted to their growth and skill development. Hockey coaches are amazing with the kids. We have been doing figure skating for our daughter and hockey for our son for the last year. He started skating again on a weekly basis last year for exercise and plans his weekends around the public skate at Rocket !!Ĭan't say enough great things about Rocket Ice. At 63, my husband played hockey all his life, but stopped when things with our four kids got too hectic. Rocket is great! This family owned rink offers convenient public skate times, a family friendly environment, and makes skating super fun for kids! They're one of the only rinks around that has skating gliders for little ones. I hope to continue skating for many years to come.

I have made some good friends and have learned how to skate well. A wonderful experience skating with great music too. The people that work there have been very friendly. Rocket Ice is my favorite place to ice skate. Highly recommended for the learn to skate program and also just to get on the ice for fun.

Figure skating program is A plus and the ice is always great. Been taking my daughter here for over 5 years, staff and coaches are great especially Coach Katie.
